The Easter Food Drive was created in 2017, and it benefits families of the Wallenpaupack Area School District. The pantry started to provide food to families in need every Thanksgiving, and then they started to do it for the Christmas season. The pantry then started to realize the good effect the drive had on people in the community during those two holidays, so it started to provide food to families in need every single week.
During the Easter season, the pantry would give each family a box filled with food that may be used for the holiday meal. Around 70 boxes were given to the families this year. Many organizations have been created to support the pantry, and they have been very successful. If you want to donate food to help the pantry out, you can go to the front office and give them the food.
