These amazing students showed off their skills in Students Taking Action with Recognition (STAR) events making our chapter proud.
Big congratulations to Leila Katz for earning a gold medal and earning a spot as a national qualifier in Interpersonal Communications. Joining her with gold medals and national qualifier status are Jill Tait and Kaelin DeSanti in Professional Presentation, and Nina Dupree in Teach and Train. These talented students will represent our chapter and state at the national level.
And there’s more good news! Mackenzie Tufaro and Petrina Urso won silver medals and national qualifier spots for their Chapter Service Project Portfolio, along with Jewel Dickerman for her Professional Presentation. Jewel Dickerman is also a national qualifier. Vivian Yetter also got a silver in Teach and Train.
Props to Tati Algermon and Soleil Wright for their bronze medals in Chapter Service Project Display, as well as Mackenzie Razny and Thomas Preston for their bronze medals in Event Management. Genesis Perez also grabbed a bronze in Public Policy Advocate.
We are very proud to announce that nationals will be held in Seattle, Washington, this year! With the help of our awesome advisors, Mrs. Sara Rosencrance, Mrs. Valerie Sandercock, and Mrs. Susan Sullum, we are all set to represent Wallenpaupack and show our Paupack Pride on the national stage.
