Keegan Boehm is a senior who’s been in Pennsylvania all his \life. Keegan considers himself fortunate to have supportive parents and family members. With aspirations set high, he intends on achieving high honors before the school year ends as he has done formerly for the past few years. For college, he plans to go to Valencia in Orlando, Florida. One of his main reasons for going there is due to a Disney deal that will assist with his college expenses. Plus, it also aligns perfectly with his passion for computer science and game design. Despite acknowledging its difficulties, Keegan’s interest lies particularly in creating his own games. Given his specific enjoyment of both story and combat games, Keegan dreams of creating his own.
He’s also deeply committed to his community here at Wallenpaupack. He’s been dedicating significant time to volunteering with Volunteers in Paupack and the food pantry for the past four years. Even amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Keegan remained steadfast, though he notes that the lack of art supplies during his freshman year affected his learning. Despite these obstacles, Keegan maintains a stable and positive outlook on life. When he’s not too focused on his studies or volunteering, Keegan enjoys spending time with friends, whether it’s going out, hiking, or spending some time fishing.
What truly defines Keegan, however, is his belief that one doesn’t have to resort to negativity to succeed. He strives to be a good person in all aspects of his life, finding genuine joy in connecting with others, even if it sometimes can be challenging to meet new people. Keegan will be remembered for his helpfulness in our community at Wallenpaupack and we wish him the best of luck on his future journeys.
