As school rolls back into normality, so does fall sports season, including girl’s tennis. The girls have been dominating the 2024 season and just keep getting better. So far, they have an impressive seven wins and three losses, and they have five matches still upcoming. Head Coach Chris Doty and assistant Coach Aimee Wentzell even commented on their increasing potential and skill citing that, “We had a difficult early schedule, but we think we are just getting better every day.”

In their last match against North Pocono, the girls proved that to be true, skillfully beating the competition 5 – 0. As time flies by the season approaches its end quickly, but the coaches are not worried. In their statement they advocated that, “Our goal is to have our last match of the season be our best match of the season.”

The girls will have played last Monday at home against Holy Cross, yesterday at Dunmore, and today (Thursday) at Mid Valley, and I implore you to go and cheer them on. I believe that once again they will demonstrate their precision and the love the coaches and players have for the sport. Good Luck girls!
