A couple of weekends ago our Wallenpaupack FBLA chapter put together an awesome event: the Polar Promenade. The promenade was for the senior citizens in our community, and it has been a huge hit for the past three years. Many members of FBLA helped host the event by interacting with everyone from serving food to hitting dance moves on the dance floor. The promenade featured many activities for everyone, including a photo booth, a raffle, and dancing. Though, what makes the event so special is that the seniors get to be with each other and the FBLA members bring them a little bit of that high school feel.
This event was headed by our FBLA chapter president Kaitlin Williams and supported by the other officers and many club members. The event also could not have happened if not for many gracious donations from sponsors of the event. The promenade was once again an enormous success, and it will continue to grow in years to come.
