After graduating from Wallenpaupack Area High School, Frank Church plans to attend Penn Tech to study Electrical Technology and Building Automation Engineering, while also continuing his athletic career playing baseball.
Throughout high school, Frank has been a dedicated athlete, playing varsity baseball, basketball, and football. He has also been a member of Aevidum for two years, showing his commitment to making a positive impact in the school community. Among his proudest accomplishments are serving as one of the captains of the basketball team, helping them to win a league championship last year, and consistently making the honor roll.
When asked what he will miss most about Paupack, Frank shared that it will be the unforgettable memories he has made with his friends, teachers, and coaches. Some of the teachers who have made the biggest impact on his high school experience include Mr. Doty, Mr. McCue, Mr. McGinnis, and, despite only having them for a brief time, Mrs. Lofberg and Mrs. Krenitsky. Frank expressed his gratitude for these teachers, saying they make each day enjoyable and give him something to look forward to.
Frank’s favorite high school memory is from this past football season during the intense two-a-day practices. Despite the demanding work, those moments created lasting memories with his teammates that he will always cherish.
As Frank looks ahead to his future, he takes with him the lessons, friendships, and experiences from Paupack, ready to tackle new challenges both in his academic and athletic career. Best of luck, Frank — your Paupack family will always be cheering you on!
