Mini-Thon is a fundraiser that will be held on June 6, 2025, to raise money for children with cancer at Penn State’s Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Wallenpaupack is one of the many schools in the nation that takes part in this event. The event is organized by students at Wallenpaupack, the FTK (For the Kids) and requires participants to dance for ten hours. All fundraising efforts are going straight to families in need. Students who will take part are encouraged to create groups of five or more to raise money within the group. The group that raises the most amount of money gets a prize at the event. The organization, Four Diamonds, created this fundraiser to provide financial support to families whose children are battling cancer, as well as funding cancer research in hopes of lowering childhood cancer death rates.
