This week wraps up the WAHS Girls Wrestling Team’s 2024-2025 season! With Regionals held at Milton High School, the following girls placed a win in their weight class: Sophia Yancewicz 100 pounds 3rd place, Rosa SanClementi 106 pounds 4th place, Gia Silva 112 pounds 2nd place, Maddie Carter 118 pounds 6th place, Charlotte Featherman 124 pounds 4th place, Soleil Wright 130 pounds 3rd place, Alayna Atos 136 pounds 2nd place, Lillian Schock 148 pounds 2nd place, Breanna Conklin 155 pounds 5th place, Mya Statile 170 pounds 3rd place. 10th grader, Gia Silva, went on to compete at States, but unfortunately lost against some national-level competition. The Paupack Press wants to congratulate Gia Silva, Coach Carroll, Coach Peters, and the rest of the WAHS Girls Wrestling Team on a successful season!
