Protective Services CTE Hosts Dodgeball Tournament

By: Tyler Myers

The Protective Services CTE, headed by Mr. Macedonia, is holding a dodgeball tournament on March 29th to support the future of the program. From 11am to 4pm, teams made of students, teachers, first responders, and the community will be pitted against each other in a bracket until only one team stands triumphant over the others. Visitors are welcome to attend the tournament, only being charged a $2.00 entrance fee.

Lead by Elizabeth Miller, the teams of 5-6 check in at 10am, then enter the melee in the High School gym at 11am. All the while, the concession stand will be open and serving all manner of snacks, drinks, and baked goods to both spectators and competitors. The event itself is strictly cash only, however checks for donations to the program are very welcome as well. Overall, this tournament serves as a golden opportunity for the community to meet the local first responders, and for the first responders themselves to meet others that share their passion.
