The Science Olympiad Team competed at the Northeast Regional Tournament at Penn State Wilkes Barre on Wednesday, March 12th. They competed against 23 other schools in our region in various scientific and technological subjects such as robotics, chemistry, and physics in different events that can include building and tests. These events vary greatly from building a tower designed to hold the most weight, to a chemistry lab.
Gabe Racine and Henry Reichman earned a 3rd place medal in “Optics”. Other top 10 finishers include: Henry Reichman in “Bungee Drop”, Julianna Williams and Gabe Racine in “Ecology”, Julianna Williams and Aidan Elkind in “Etymology”, Henry Reichman in “Geologic Mapping”, Gabe Racine and Aidan Beheran in “Robot Tour”, Aidan Beheran in “Wind Power”, and Julianna Williams in “Towers”.
