Spring ASVAB

By: Giovanni Patire

On Friday, April 11, students will be taking the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test, or the ASVAB. You may be asking, what is ASVAB? The ASVAB is a standardized test used by the military to determine the ability for enlistment of a student. Does this test make you obligated to enlist? While the test is beneficial if you are enlisting, taking this test does not make the student participating obligated to enlist in the military. Rather, it is used to help students discover their interests in the military and discover their aptitudes. This test will take place at our school from eight to eleven AM, and students must bring a fully charged iPad. If you are interested in taking the ASVAB test, see a guidance counselor ASAP.
