On May 24th at 5:30 am, the WAHS band and color guard will be leaving for Washington DC for Memorial Day weekend. The group consists of eighty-two students grades eight to 12, and they will be participating in the National Memorial Day Parade on May 26th at 2 pm. Within this trip, they will also be attending the Smithsonian Museums and Zoo, Arlington National Cemetary, and an evening tour of the monuments/memorials.
