The Paupack Press is shining the light on Evie Neenan this week for Senior Spotlight. Evie is involved with many musical activities in and out of high school, such as the school’s marching band, as a drum major, as well as concert band, jazz band, wind ensemble, choir, chamber choir, and show choir. In addition, Evie participated in PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educator’s Association) District orchestra, District and Region Band, District choir, Region choir, All State choir, and she was chosen for the NAfME (National Association for Music Educators) All Eastern Mixed Choir. Following her growing music career, Evie plans to attend a four-year university, and she wishes to study music and business. She hopefully wants to work in the music industry.

Evie’s high school career expands further than just music. She’s been involved in the varsity cross country team, varsity soccer team, student ambassadors, the scholastic team, mini-thon, WAHS players, and finally, NHS (National Honors Society). During her high school years, Evie’s favorite memories are at the school’s football games and performing musicals alongside her best friends. When asked, Evie says that getting into the All State and All Eastern levels for choir are definitely her proudest achievements. Lastly, Evie wanted to thank the preforming arts teachers for helping her be the musician she is today. Good luck Evie!
