On Thursday, November 14, a few students involved in theater classes and extracurriculars were given the opportunity to see the play “Our Town” at the Milford Theatre. Students were excused from class at 8:45 and got back to school at around 2 pm. The play started at 10 am and lasted until 12:30, where the students were able to ask questions about the play afterwards. The play was about the story of folks from a town and their lives, living in a small town. Students were able to see a well-done production, experiencing different aspects of culture and art, all while learning the multitude of lessons from the play. Additionally, students were able to learn about proper audience etiquette. The play, “Our Town” conveys its main message of appreciation by exemplifying how everyday life is fleeting.
