The 4th annual Polar Promenade, sponsored by Wallenpaupack’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter, brought more than 130 senior citizens to dance and socialize with the younger generation. FBLA members set up the cafeteria early Saturday morning, with many decorations that were donated by local businesses for the event. The prom was free for all local senior citizens, with food such as pastas and salads, and desserts such as brownies and cookies being donated for the dinner portion of the event. The event also included raffles, which included a $25 Weis gift card, multiple gift cards for local restaurants, and baskets of items that were donated. The event is something that many of the guests look forward to every year.
