Music’s Biggest Night: Highlights from the 2026 Grammy Awards

The 68th Annual Grammy Awards lit up Los Angeles on February 1, 2026, celebrating some of the biggest names and brightest newcomers in the music industry. The evening was packed with show-stopping performances, emotional tributes, and well-deserved wins across every genre.

The night’s top honor, Album of the Year, went to Bad Bunny for Debí Tirar Más Fotos, adding another milestone to his already historic career. Record of the Year was awarded to Kendrick Lamar and SZA for their hit collaboration “Luther,” while Billie Eilish earned Song of the Year with the powerful and poetic “Wildflower.” Rising British star Olivia Dean took home the coveted Best New Artist award.

In other categories, Lady Gaga captured Best Pop Vocal Album, Kehlani earned both Best R&B Song and Performance, Turnstile won Best Rock Album, Jelly Roll picked up Best Contemporary Country Album, and Lola Young secured Best Pop Solo Performance.

The Grammys are known not only for recognizing musical excellence but also for delivering unforgettable live performances — and this year was no exception. Lady Gaga, Rosé, Tyler, The Creator, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, and Clipse with Pharrell Williams each brought electrifying energy to the stage, showcasing the diversity and creativity of today’s artists.

The Best New Artist nominees shared the spotlight in a special performance segment featuring Addison Rae, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, Sombr, and The Marías, giving audiences a glimpse of music’s next generation.

Heartfelt tributes honored legendary artists who have passed. Ms. Lauryn Hill delivered a moving performance during the In Memoriam segment, while Post Malone paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne with a rock-infused homage. Country icon Reba McEntire, joined by Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson, also performed in remembrance of late country musicians.

The 2026 Grammys proved once again that music continues to unite generations and genres. From seasoned icons to breakout stars, this year’s ceremony celebrated the artistry, talent, and emotion that make music timeless.
