Our skin is our largest organ, and it needs our attention, especially in winter months. Here’s some things to keep your skin healthy and clean:
· Use lotions, body oils, and other hydrating products.
· It’s a good habit to look through the ingredients of whichever products you consider buying (most hydrating products should list water as one of the first few ingredients).
· Make sure the products you buy are for your skin type. Oily skin needs something different than dry or combination skin.
· Exfoliate. Layers of dead skin makes your skin look duller than it really is.
· Keep your lips moisturized (lip gloss, lip oil, Chapstick, lip balms, Vaseline, etc.)
· More products are not always better. Over-hydrating your skin can cause just as many problems as drying it out.
It’s okay if you can’t or don’t know how to take care of your skin because everyone is different. Any advice I can give will still need to be changed, depending on what works best for you!
