Wallenpaupack Scholastics Place 1st at Tournament

            The Wallenpaupack Area High School Scholastic Team earned a first-place finish at a tournament hosted by Berwick Area High School. The competition followed a bracket style format, with eight to nine games played throughout the day. Wallenpaupack sent two teams to compete, and the A Team, made up of Henry Reichman, Gabe Racine, Jude Mautz, and Parker Nicholas, went undefeated through all rounds to claim the championship title. The B team consisted of Brad Miehle, Jackson Racine, Lee Decker, and Madison Grabher. Brad Miehle placed 8th overall for Wallenpaupack. The team’s success was highlighted by strong individual performances, including Parker Nicholas, who finished as the second-highest scorer in the entire competition! Going undefeated in a stressful tournament environment demonstrated the team’s preparation, teamwork, and depth of knowledge. The win marks an impressive achievement for Wallenpaupack’s Scholastic Team and reflects the continued strength of the school’s academic competition program. We congratulate our winners and wish the team as a whole the best as they continue their season!
