Swedish Lagom Lifestyle
Lagom, the Swedish concept of ‘just the right amount,’ advocates for a balanced and unhurried approach to life. With an emphasis on sustainability and community, lagom promotes a life where stress is reduced and simplicity is celebrated.
This lifestyle encourages ‘fika,’ a coffee break that embodies the Swedish art of togetherness and relaxation. More importantly, maintaining a home that is a sanctuary of peace and harmony, free from clutter, is an integral element of lagom, reflecting the belief in the power of the environment to influence one’s inner state.
Chinese- Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese treatment that involves inserting needles into the body. It aims to balance energy as the needles are put into specific points along the meridians to balance the flow of energy in your body. This practice is perfect for self-care as it can help treat headaches, allergies, insomnia, back pain, high blood pressure, neck pain, and infertility. All you need to do is find a licensed acupuncturist and enjoy a bit of relaxation and revitalization.
S Lehkim Parom – With Light Steam
In Russia, sweating is synonymous with health. It follows that the banya (a word used to refer to both public bathhouses and steam rooms) has held an important place in Russian culture since ancient times. Russians take the banya experience very seriously. In January 2018, Oymyakon (in northeast Russia), considered the world’s coldest permanently inhabited town, recorded a low temperature of -66 degrees Celsius (-88 degrees Fahrenheit). Taking things to the opposite extreme, Russian steam rooms easily reach a temperature of over 93 degrees Celsius (200 degrees Fahrenheit).
