Weeks of rigorous practices have put the Wallenpaupack Unified Track Team in a great position for their first scrimmage. From last year to this year, there has been a great increase in improvement regarding times, enthusiasm, and the overall drive of the team. Last year, the Wallenpaupack Unified Track team won the Unified Championship Schools National banner, which was the first time the Wallenpaupack Area High School has ever received this award. The banner recognizes all efforts put forward by our unified team for inclusion. The scrimmage on Thursday April sixth was a time-trials meet, which means the meet was used to establish qualifying times. Regardless of what the purpose of the meet was, we know that our Unified Track team works insanely hard and puts all of their efforts into every practice and meet. This Friday April 14th will be the first official unified track and field meet; come out to Delaware Valley to support our Unified Track Team and cheer on our 2021 state champions! Go Bucks!
