At the District 2 wrestling tournament, a set of coaches were elected by their peers (other wrestling coaches) to be the District 2 “Coaches of the Year”. This year, Mr. Krushnowski was elected to be the Head Coach of the Year, while Mr. Knisley and Mr. Heckman were elected to be the Assistant Coaches of the Year. This great achievement is a testament to the effectiveness and skill of Wallenpaupack Area High School’s coaching staff and shows the care and time they put into their crafts.
This accomplishment was prefaced by two consecutive winning seasons, with the 2023-24 season ending with an overall win-loss record of 19-3, with a 19-2 record this previous season.
