With track and field now officially in season, the races will be coming up fast for the athletes. The track team has an amazing fan base at the school, with many students, parents, and many others coming out and supporting the team. The Buckhorns first race will be on March 18, at the Wallenpaupack Area High School track, against Valley View. Then on March 25 and April 1, the Buckhorns will stay at home, against rivals Scranton High School and the Honesdale Hornets.
April 10 the team will visit Western Wayne, and the track team will host the Icebreakers invitational on Saturday, April 12. April 15 the team will be at the Delaware Valley High School. The Twilight invitational event will be at North Pocono on April 17. On April 22, the Bucks will travel to West Scranton High School. On April 28, the last official race of the season, the team will head back to North Pocono. The Jordan Relays will be on May 1 which will be held at Scranton High School, and the following week, Districts, also will be at Scranton. Make sure to go and support the track and field team.
