On Thursday October 2 the Girls Varsity Tennis Team played against Delaware Valley for the District Two quarterfinals. They beat Delaware Valley by a score of five to zero. The girls fought hard for the win and continued to the District Semi-Finals.
The semifinal round was Tuesday, October 7, at Kirby Park against West Scranton. The girls lost to this team previously but came back stronger than before. The matches started at 12:30 and concluded at 2:30, with Wallenpaupack winning three out of five contests, which propelled them to the finals.
The district finals were played against Abington High School at around 3:15. Wallenpaupack lost to Abington zero three to zero; but the Lady Bucks claimed the silver medal for their efforts.
