Taylor Swift is one of the most popular musicians of our time, becoming one of the most listened to female artists on Spotify. She debuted in the year 2006, releasing her first album, “Taylor Swift”. Since then, Swift has become a huge sensation due to her epic tours and great music. However, there are albums that are much better than others. So, in this article I’m going to be ranking all of Taylor Swift’s albums, from “Taylor Swift”, to her latest album that released in October of 2022 “Midnights”. Let me know what you think!
10- TAYLOR SWIFT (2006)
With all due respect, this album is trash. I can only name one song, “Picture to burn”, out of the whole album. She was only 16 when the album was released, and she did three more country albums after this, before deciding to join the pop industry. I never listen to this album, due to my only making it through two songs before I get bored. I feel like many others agree.
9- EVERMORE (2020)
I’m being honest, I think I can only name one song off this album and folklore. I haven’t listened to this album since it was released, considering I wasn’t that big of a fan at the time of this release. The music isn’t really my type due to it being slow. and I can’t make it through the album.
8- FOLKLORE (2006)
The second album that I find horribly slow. I never liked this album; however, it did have some songs that became very memorable. “Cardigan” and “August” are the songs I know out of the whole album due to it playing around the internet. The amount of rage I know August kids get when we are on ‘TikTok’, and they say our song is “August”. give August baby’s a change!
7- FEARLESS (2008)
This is one of the albums where iconic songs may be found. “Love Story” is one of the most iconic songs that she made, and one of the songs that when people hear the first instrument, they know the song. This was the album that people noticed the young musician.
6- SPEAK NOW (2010)
This is the second to last country album that Taylor Swift made before she joined the pop industry. This album has recently become a hit sensation once again due to the Eras Tour. The most popular song on the whole list is “Enchanted”. The song has gained a huge amount of popularity on TikTok.
5- RED (2012)
Now we are in the top five! “Red” was the very first Taylor Swift album that I have ever listened to. This was Taylor’s last country album, which makes it even more memorable. The whole album has iconic lyrics, and some of the most memorable songs. From “22” to “We are never getting back together” the whole album has good lyrics and Taylor’s voice just fits perfectly to the album.
4- MIDNIGHTS (2022)
Honestly, the lyrics in this album are very beautifully written. This album contains music from all her different eras. She said she wrote some of the lyrics when she was awake late in the night. She had made such relatable songs in the album. Coming from “Anti- Hero” to “On your own kid”, the whole album is like a rollercoaster, having you happy and upbeat in one sound, then being sad in the next. I adore this album!
3- LOVER (2019)
Now the top three! Lover is such a nice uplifting album. There are barely any skips in my opinion. This album means a lot to the people who are falling in love, or already in love. “Lover” is a comfort for all the people out there. This album has very memorable songs, and this album holds a special place in our Taylor Swift collection.
2- 1989 (2014)
Honestly, I don’t trust people who hate this album. This album was Taylor’s first pop album released to the world. The album was instantly popular with songs such as “Shake it off”. This is every Taylor Swift fan’s top three. The music videos for this album had instantly become popular on YouTube. The album has become extremely popular again too.
- REPUTATION (2017)
This album is my jam! The whole album is a hype-up album. This is the music I listen to when I must go to my sports games. The album doesn’t have a lot of skips, and this was also Taylor’s best era! On her Reputation Tour, Taylor put snakes everywhere due to Kim Kardashian calling her a snake. Taylor’s “Reputation” album had made me into a better version of myself, a child who won’t take hate! Thank you, Taylor Swift!
