On January 8, Wallenpaupack Area High School proudly participated in the SkillsUSA District contest held at Luzerne County Community College (LCCC), achieving outstanding results. Seven talented students showcased their expertise and brought home top honors in various categories:
– Tyler Warrington: 1st place in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair
– Zach Kellogg: 2nd place in Automotive Technology
– Evan Huber: 2nd place in Motorcycle Technology
– Hunter Haynes: 2nd place in Power Equipment Technology
– Corina Dalphus: 3rd place in Power Equipment Technology
– Jacob Foley: 3rd place in Early Childhood Education
– Sean McGarry: 3rd place in Plumbing
Congratulations to these students for their hard work and dedication. The students that placed first in their respective category will move onto states. Also, a big congratulations to Mr. Ron Bayly, SkillsUSA Advisor, for guiding them to success.
