On January 28, the Wallenpaupack Varsity Cheerleading team took part in the Tri-State Cheerleading tournament at Delaware Valley High School. The team won 1st place in the Varsity Coded Division with a base score of 79.5. The Wallenpaupack Cheerleading team competed against seven other schools. Congratulations to the Wallenpaupack Cheerleading team for their outstanding work.
We would also like to congratulate senior Sophia Ems, who won “Best Jumps” out of nine others in the Scholastic Division. She plans to continue cheerleading as a collegiate spirit athlete, and hopes to visit her two final college picks, the University of Pittsburgh and Temple.
