On Wednesday, April 9, our Wallenpaupack Kids Food Pantry undertook an Easter food distribution for families in our school community. The Food Pantry was assisted by Volunteers in Paupack club. The boxes were filled with many different food items such as hams and all the trimmings for an Easter dinner. Also, the boxes included additional meals, snacks, and Easter candy. In total there were 90 boxes made for the high school. Additionally, our other four schools received hams and Easter boxes as well. We served a total of 120 families in our district. This was the last holiday food distribution for this school year, and Our Kids Food Pantry would like to thank Volunteers in Paupack for all their help and our generous community for their financial support.
