On Wednesday, May 20, members of the Paupack Press went to the Hamlin library to meet with WVIA, a radio station near Wilkes- Barre. The group met Alissa Swarts, the director of education, and Tim Novotney, the multimedia producer. Novotney taught the press how you do not need a cool video camera to shoot something worthwhile and how phones can perform the exact tasks. He explained how to make videos and how to do certain action shots. At the end of the workshop, the students got to work on their own short with both Alissa and Tim.
