This week has been full of ups and downs for the boys. On Monday, September 29, the boys had their Youth Night and hosted Valley View on the turf. This game was a good one showing determination from both teams. The game was fought till the last minute but sadly Valley View came out on top by a score of 2-1. This was a great showing for the youth players despite the loss. The boys showed grit, determination, and perseverance throughout the game teaching youth players what it takes to keep moving despite demanding situations.
After that loss, the boys picked themselves up quickly, defeating Scranton Prep, at their field, by a score of 4-2. Next was their JV tournament. Overall, the tournament was a success with our boys’ team placing 2nd after a hard-fought championship game.
