Nikolas Markov

There are only six students in this year’s senior class in the engineering CTE. Usually, the students will be hard at work on a project or assignment- any person passing by will hear only power tools or the click of keyboards. However, in their rare moments of free time, laughter and talking can be heard from the class, and the source at the center of it- Nikolas Markov.

Nik is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars and an athlete on the swim and track teams. After high school, Nik plans to attend Penn State for Aeronautical Engineering with the more than $30,000 he has earned in scholarships- something he notes as his greatest achievement in high school. Moving out of high school, Nik will reminisce on the engineering competitions he participated in and won with his CTE classmates. As well as the memories, Nik will miss his friends, the swim team, and his teachers- notably Mrs. Gilson, who he thanks for helping him with the National Honors Society and being an amazing teacher.
