On Monday, October 27 at 7:00, Wallenpaupack Area High School held its annual Scholar Night to recognize its’ outstanding students for their academic efforts. Students received awards based on their grades from the previous year. Students either received a silver award for an average grade of 86-95% or a gold award for an average grade of 96% and greater. A total of 429 students got an award this year. Specifically, 288 students received a silver award, while 141 received gold.
The night began in the Main Gym by recognizing the sophomores first, which was then followed by the juniors and seniors. Wallenpaupack Area High School holds this event to thank its’ diligent and persevering students. Wallenpaupack thanks Ms. Saylor and Ms. Gilson for their help in setting up and organizing the event, as well as the dedicated efforts of the executive council and NHS members.
