The Wallenpaupack bocce teams are excited for the start of a new season, beginning with their first practice today, November 20th. This year, around 30 students are taking part in bocce across the two teams (Purple and White).
Last year, both teams advanced through leagues and earned spots at regionals, where the White team placed 7th and the Purple team finished 5th. With those results setting strong expectations, the group is aiming to go even further this year.
While the first meet date has not yet been finalized, it is expected to take place sometime after the Thanksgiving break. Coaches and players are eager to get started and continue building on last year’s success with the hopes of making it to states for the first time in Paupack history.
