This past week, the Paupack swim team traveled to Pocono Mountain East for their Senior meet. With this being Senior Night, the team wanted to come out with a double win more than ever. They were successful with the boys winning by a score of 111-44 and girls winning by a score of 120-48. The Cap of Fames this meet were Jasper Hathaway and Zoee Stuckey. Both of these seniors have shown determination and hard work not only in practice but in their races and their leadership too.
With it being senior night, during the diving break, all Paupack seniors were recognized and thanked for all their efforts throughout the season. This year’s seniors are Sherry Aliotta, Christian Gutierrez, Colten Green, Sophia Harmuth, Jasper Hathaway, Alexa Laing, Nikolas Markov, Brad Miehle, Lucas Nilsen, Camron Ortiz, Annalee Protasiewicz, and Zoee Stuckey. All these seniors are celebrated for their leadership and hard work throughout their high school career. To celebrate, at the end of the meet, all seniors were given the opportunity to do a cannonball into the pool from the blocks.
Next, they traveled to the University of Scranton to take on Holy Cross on February 10. Where both the girls and boys destroyed Holy Cross’ team. The boys won 122-25 and the girls also dominated with a score of 126-19.
