On Thursday March 19, the Wallenpaupack Varsity Buckhorn Baseball team traveled to Wilkes-Barre area. The Bucks fell short 5 – 4 despite out-hitting Wilkes-Barre seven to six, JJ Blaum lead the Bucks with an astonishing three hits. The Bucks started with Cameron Lynch on the mound for two innings. The Bucks fell behind four runs in the third inning but then tried to fight back. They closed this gap by scoring on a ground out, a fly out and a single. Then Logan Caruso singled to the left side of the infield, which in turn tied the game up 4-4. With a passed ball, Wilkes-Barre gained the lead 5-4 in the bottom of the sixth.
The Bucks took on Wyoming Valley West on Wednesday and came out on top by a score of 4-3.
