Why is Breakfast Important?

“Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!” We hear that all the time, and yet we still ignore it. Many of us don’t see the importance of fueling our bodies in the morning. Breakfast starts your metabolism, helping you burn more calories throughout the day. Eating breakfast also enhances focus, memory, and the ability to process information, especially in children and students. Regular breakfast eaters tend to have lower body weights and are less likely to overeat due to extreme hunger.

            Skipping breakfast leads to lower glucose levels, which can cause mental sluggishness and lower energy levels. It can also lead to you eating less healthy foods, because many of us grab a snack out the door out of convenience.
