On April 14, Wallenpaupack’s Unified Track team competed in their second meet and their first away meet of the season against Abington Heights and Lakeland. A tough start in the 100-meter runs put them behind early, and they struggled to recover. The team continued to compete hard, and several athletes achieved personal records. Sadly, the team came in third as Lakeland finished with 199 points; Abington Heights scored 184; and Wallenpaupack earned 172. The result leaves the team with an overall record of no wins and two losses, but the team is hopeful to improve and keep having fun.
