Student Of the Week: Ryan Kapschull

By: Molly Cunningham

Ryan Kapschull has been a dedicated member of our soccer team throughout his high school career. His favorite memory came during an intense game against Scranton Prep that pushed into overtime. In a thrilling finish, Ryan scored the game-winning goal, securing a hard-fought victory against a tough opponent.

Although soccer has been his main passion, Ryan also played basketball through his sophomore year and took part in track and field that same year. Always looking to stay involved in athletics, he also contributed to the Athletic Council while it was still active.

Ryan credits his older brother as his biggest inspiration throughout high school, sharing that he is “…always pointing me in the right direction and keeping my head high, making sure I always have someone to talk to.” That kind of support has been especially meaningful for someone as involved as Ryan.

With graduation quickly approaching, Ryan is focused on his future. He plans to attend Bloomsburg University to study Digital Forensics and Cyber Security, with hopes of becoming a detective one day.

We wish Ryan the best of luck in his playmaking future!
