Fourteen of Wallenpaupack Area High School’s HOSA members will be attending a field trip to Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA on May 27th. The experience is sponsored by Wallenpaupack’s local Area Health Education Center, also known as AHEC. This organization works to fund trips, award scholarships, and overall spread quality healthcare opportunities to all communities. Advisor Patricia Elders is excited to assist her HOSA students as they go on a tour of the anatomy lab, simulation lab, and technology sandbox. They will also have the privilege of touring the Life Lion; the medical airline system, and reviewing medical students’ research papers. We wish our HOSA students an amazing trip!
