Saying Goodbye: Tyler Meyers

By: Kiana Madrigal

As the 25’-26’ Paupack Press editions come to an end, we would like to send a special thanks to Tyler Meyers for his dedication and the lasting impact he has had. Tyler has been a part of the Paupack Press as a reporter, editor, and the soundboard operator for our podcast. He has never failed to try his best, even through challenges.

From the shores of Wallenpaupack, Tyler is setting his sights on Clemson University in South Carolina, where he plans to pursue a five-year accelerated master’s degree in bioengineering or biomedical engineering. He hopes to contribute to life-changing treatments and cures for diseases.

Outside of Paupack Press, Tyler has taken part in FBLA, HOSA, Scholastics, and National Honor Society. In Honesdale, he wrestled and played soccer. Tyler has been a part of the Engineering CTE program through the Honesdale-Paupack CTE transfer program, helping him grow his passion for engineering and kickstarting his career.

Tyler is not just intelligent, but he has the ability to lift the spirits of those around him. Even in difficult or stressful situations, he always has a way of making people laugh and brighten the moment. Somehow, even his emails have a sense of humor. Tyler is incredibly caring and thoughtful, always considering others and helping whenever he can.

The Paupack Press is beyond grateful for the effort Tyler has contributed. He has inspired his peers with his commitment and drive. We are excited to see all the incredible things he will accomplish in the future, and we wish him all the best as he embarks on this next chapter.
