On the days of September 23rd to the 25th during first and second block, students in the Allied Health II and Protective services CTE programs received their CPR certifications. Students were expected to watch different videos and practice adult, child, and infant CPR, first aid, and choking aid. It was completed by 22 students and was organized by the Allied Health teacher, Mrs. Elders and the Protective Services teacher, Mr. Macedonia. Additionally, Mr. Ulrich and Mr. Comiskey were also involved, who both hold paramedic backgrounds. The certifications acquired will allow CTE students to get their medical assisting certification and gain further experience in their future field.
