On October 3, the borough of Hawley hosted its annual Hawley Hoedown, a two-day community festival. Eighteen members of Volunteers in Paupack (VIP) helped keep the festival running smoothly by volunteering at different stations. Some members worked at the face painting and pumpkin painting station, where they helped children enjoy the activities. Others passed out flyers to people attending the festival. Members also assisted at the food concession stands and helped with the horse-drawn wagon rides. Overall, everyone had a fun time helping and furthering the success of the Hawley Hoedown!
