How To Survive Your Murder — A Thrilling Read!

This book is classified as a fiction thriller novel. It is most definitely a thriller; it keeps you guessing who the murderer is while you read! There are so many plot twists throughout this story, they make it perfect if you love the intensity of thrillers. It’s a real page turner.

It begins with two sisters, Alice and Claire, arriving at a cornfield on Halloween night. In the center of this cornfield is Chloe Bree’s birthday party. She set it up to be just like the movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre. She even added fake chainsaws and jump scares throughout the maze. Alice doesn’t want to go into the maze and Claire does. Claire tells her sister, just before she walks into the maze, “If you don’t come with me, I’ll die.” There was an entrance around the back of the corn maze that leads into the party area. If you didn’t want to go through the creepy maze, you could go there, which is where Alice went. When her sister doesn’t arrive within a good chunk of time, she starts to worry and heads into the maze to look for her. She ends up finding Chloe Bree with her arm chain-sawed off, screaming, and the man holding the chainsaw standing over her sister with a knife in him. Let’s just say that Alice watched her sister get murdered that night. Fast forwarding a year later, Alice is in the bathroom of the courthouse, about to put the murderer behind bars, but someone who looks a lot like one of Alice’s favorite movie stars, Sydney Prescott, knocks her out. Alice gets sent back to one year ago, the night her sister was murdered; she has a chance to fix everything, or so she thinks.

The more you read in this book makes you really wonder what’s going to happen next, it is such a wonderful work of literature, even if the title is a little off-putting.
