Tyler Myers plans to attend college to pursue a 5-year accelerated master’s degree in Bioengineering or Biomedical Engineering.

During his time at Wallenpaupack, Tyler has been involved in FBLA, HOSA, Scholastics, National Honor Society, the Engineering CTE program, and The Paupack Press. He also played soccer and wrestled for Honesdale, a unique opportunity made possible through the Honesdale-Paupack CTE transfer program.

Acting as a student ambassador of sorts, Tyler has represented the transfer program well by excelling in both academics and extracurriculars.

Among his proudest accomplishments are qualifying for FBLA Nationals in the journalism objective test and trailblazing as the first CTE transfer student to compete as an athlete.

Tyler lives by the belief that “learning is the spice of life,” keeping his focus on growth and discovery each day. He credits several teachers with shaping his journey. Mr. Heckman, his Engineering CTE teacher, has given him both a place to learn and a community that feels like family, especially during times when balancing athletics and academics became challenging. Mrs. Kromko, his honors Biology teacher at Honesdale, first sparked his passion for biology and inspired the path he plans to pursue.

As he looks ahead to the future, Tyler leaves behind a legacy of curiosity, leadership, and trailblazing for others who follow in his footsteps.
