On September 13, Wallenpaupack Area High School’s Student Council visited Dorney Park for a team bonding trip.
The group spent the day at the park from 11-5pm, participating in different activities designed to bring members together outside of their usual Student Council positions and duties. Throughout the trip, students had the opportunity to enjoy the park rides while also completing scavenger hunts and other challenges together.
One of the highlights of the trip was a scavenger hunt that put the Student Council students against their advisors— leading to an advisor’s success.
Besides the competition, the trip gave members a chance to spend time together and build relationships before the school year. Between rides, competing, and exploring, the day provided a fun break from school all the while becoming closer as a team.
The Dorney Park bonding trip served as a great way for Student Council members to kick off the year and build connections.
