On the morning of the first Friday of the 2026-2027 school year, seniors arrived in the student parking lot to watch the sun rise. Carrying fuzzy blankets and Dunkin coffee, students showed up to the school at 6:30 to socialize with each other under the vibrant pink sky for our annual Senior Sunrise. Light refreshments and snacks were provided by Mrs. Pierce and Mrs. Bonagura, along with Senior Sunrise photo-op props. Some kids showed off their cooking skills with a grill while others conquered the mic in karaoke. Either way, the seniors enjoyed the first rays of the day–and of the school year, ready to begin their last year at Wallenpaupack.
