Kady Hanor, a senior at Wallenpaupack Area High School, enjoys staying active and spending time with others. Outside of school, she enjoys playing soccer, hiking, baking, and hanging out with friends. She is also involved in several school activities, including soccer, HOSA, and SADD.
Out of these activities, soccer is Kady’s favorite because she loves being part of a team and surrounding herself with supportive people. Throughout her time on the team, she has developed meaningful connections with her teammates. One of her proudest accomplishments has been becoming one of the girls’ soccer team captains, a role that made her feel she had made a positive impact on others.
Some of Kady’s favorite high school memories include attending Friday night football games, participating in Powderpuff games, and enjoying the fall pep rally. These experiences have become meaningful parts of her high school years, giving her opportunities to make memories with her friends.
As she approaches graduation, Kady hopes to make the most of her senior year by being present in every moment. Looking at life after high school, Kady plans to attend college and pursue a career in either physical therapy or as a physician assistant. Her experiences attending clinicals through the Exercise Science and Sports Medicine program have especially influenced her interest in physical therapy. These opportunities have helped her explore potential career paths and consider what she would like to pursue in the future. Looking toward the future, Kady hopes to travel and begin building the life she envisions for herself.
Overall, Kady hopes to be remembered as a caring person who was always there when someone needed her. Through her involvement in soccer and other school activities, she has valued the connections she has made and the opportunity to positively influence those around her. As she moves into her next chapter, she hopes to carry that same sense of care and support into her future.
