Brooke Duggan, a senior at Wallenpaupack Area High School, is best known for her genuine and kind-hearted personality. She actively takes part in several activities including the Color Guard team, Swim team, National Honor Society, and WAHS players.
Among these, WAHS players is Brooke’s favorite. This is mainly because she feels as though she made many of her lifelong friends and deepest connections there. Plus, she is also developing many of her favorite memories that she’ll continue to remember even after graduation.
During her high-school career, Brooke has made numerous fond memories. However, her favorites stem from her times singing for others. She specifically looks back on singing in various streets and churches in Italy last summer with her classmates. It is an experience she’ll never forget and always finds herself mentioning.
When it comes to the proudest moments through her high school career, Brooke remembers becoming Student of the Month and having the opportunity to present in front of the school board. She also takes pride in becoming captain of both the Color Guard and Swim teams as it had been something she knew she wanted since joining in her freshman year.
After high school, Brooke intends on attending the University of Scranton to pursue a degree in accounting and hopes to become an accountant in the future. Looking further ahead, Brooke sees herself living a comfortable life with a stable job. She hopes to be surrounded by both books and various hobbies to keep her occupied in her downtime. Brooke also intends on growing her found passion for environmental studies and community service to help local fauna and flora.
Overall, Brooke hopes that others can remember her as a kind and genuine person. She wants to be known as someone who always knew how to have fun, as someone who was always available, and a pleasure to interview.
