One Battle After Another film that won six awards
The 98th Academy Awards Oscars were held on March 15 at 7pm ET in Hollywood. The live broadcast was hosted by Connor O’Brien. There were many standouts for awards with One Battle After Another ending the night with six awards. One Battle After Another won awards for best picture, best director, best supporting actor, best adapted screenplay, best film editing, and best casting. The film’s director was Paul Thomas Anderson. The best supporting actor went to Sean Penn, and the best film editing for that film went to Andy Jurgensen.
Another highlight from the night, was Autumn Durald Arkapaw making history as the first woman and women of color to win Best Cinematography for the film Sinners. Other highlights from the night include the K-Pop song Golden winning Best Original song. Overall, the night was a huge success with many films, directors, and actors winning awards for their achievements.
