Billy England

From the stage to the sidelines to the classroom, senior Billy England has made the most of his time at Wallenpaupack. Known for being well-rounded and dedicated, Billy has been involved in band, theatre, and multiple cheer teams throughout his high school career, always pushing himself to be the best he can be.

One of Billy’s proudest achievements is making the honor roll, something he worked hard for by consistently keeping his grades at 90 or above. His commitment to academics reflects the same determination he brings to everything he does.

Although he has found success in high school, Billy is still exploring his future path. He plans to stay in the Pocono region and attend college, where he hopes to study either environmental science or liberal arts.

Looking back, Billy offers meaningful advice to his younger self: stay confident, keep up with your work, get involved in as many activities as possible, and truly enjoy high school while it lasts. He emphasizes how quickly time goes by and encourages others to be themselves without letting anyone hold them back.

Throughout high school, Billy has been inspired most by his teachers and close friends. He shares, “My teachers have taught me so much beyond just school—they’ve helped me a lot, and they work so hard to help everyone.”

He also values the constant support of his friends, saying, “They’ve always been there for me—they’re like my siblings.”

Together, these relationships have played a huge role in shaping his high school experience.

Billy has built a strong reputation at Wallenpaupack, but when it comes down to it, he hopes to be remembered in a fun and personal way—as “Billy the Grahhh” or for “the Pocket Billy’s,” inside jokes shared with his closest friends.

We wish Billy the best of luck in all that lies ahead!
