10 Things I Hate About You is a romantic comedy about two sisters, Kat and Bianca Stratford, who have very different personalities. Bianca is popular and wants to start dating, but their dad has a rule that she cannot date until Kat does. The problem is that Kat is independent, has a strong attitude, and is not really interested in relationships. Bianca ends up getting a guy named Patrick to date Kat so that Bianca can date the guy she likes, Cameron. At first, Patrick is only dating Kat because he is getting paid, but as they spend more time together, he starts to develop feelings for her. Throughout the movie, they both learn more about each other and realize that love is not always what they expected. In the end, Kat finds out the truth about Patrick, which causes some drama between them, but Patrick proves that he really cares about her. Overall, the movie is about love, trust, and being yourself, even when other people do not understand you.
